I'm a reporter who most recently covered housing and the safety net for WABE, the NPR station in Atlanta. My work is known for compelling human voices and investigations that reveal the gaps in systems that prevent families and individuals from leading safe, stable lives. 

In my decade at WABE, I was a fellow with ProPublica's Local Reporting Network,  an awardee with the Knight Lab's Data Driven Reporting Project, collaborated with Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting and produced a dozen features for the national NPR network. 

My stories have sparked federal lawsuits, changed local policies and have been recognized with numerous awards, including a National Murrow Award, Green Eyeshade Division Award from the Society of Professional Journalists and as a Third Coast Impact Award Finalist.
